Red Project, Favorites and some unseen images

Well as promised when I broke the 900 fan mark I would post more of the Red project. Here is some of the images from the show and some of my favorites that have not been seen yet. This project was a great journey for me because as the project grew so did my photography and my vision of it.  I worked with some amazing people across Alberta who made this all possible. I thank them all for their hard work whether it was climbing around creepy old farmhouses, wandering through a ghost town, to venturing out into fields and in rivers, ladies you were amazing!

September 8, 2011 - 7:34 pm Patty - My guess is your gamma and RGB is set differently on your computer than on you camera body. Your gamma should be at 2.2 and white point should be D65 for appropriate adjustments on your computer.. The reds do not look natural and there is not enough black on your B/W conversions. It was a hard lesson learned for me, and here is a link to a proper B/W conversion so that you get an idea about what I am talking about. http://www.flickr.com/photos/zoriah/5719351613/in/photostream/lightbox/
