Whether it was indoors or out doors, natural light or artificial the idea to capture and display lines in a unique and interesting way is always the challenge. As time goes on and mentor-ship from other artists my challenge is to grow my art and knowledge and understanding, even now I have some from this past year which turned out great but I am not quite ready to share yet as I think about its implications and meaning to me.
As I go forward for me it is going to be about being an artist and my medium is my photography rather than trying to force it the other way around. Being able to approach my subject with my mind wide open rather than with preconceived notions will help my work develop into something greater no matter if its this style work or a simple portrait.
