So I have been trying to capture the elusive snowfall shot this year with not much success either due to weather or client availability. So not to log ago after spending a couple hours shovelling snow I decided since it was still snowing to call up my friend Carly and see if she was up for heading out in the lovely -20C to take some snow shots before I had to head off to photograph an event. So on very short notice and a quick setup and about 20 mins of shooting we got a few keepers from the session and here they are for your viewing pleasure.
With that all being said this is probably my last session with one of my favourite people to work with. Not often as a photographer can you get someone reliable and prepared on short notice to do a test shoot. Over the past 18 months I have had several shoots with this lovely lady, but now she is off to school to become a trained Makeup Artist. I can only hope she will come back to work with me again in front of the camera as well as behind the scenes putting her new trade to good use.
